Effective date: June 4, 2026 — incorporated into the AgentCollect Terms of Service
The short version. AgentCollect gives you powerful AI to recover what's owed. Use it to contact the right people, about real debts, in a lawful and respectful way. You are the party running the collection and the sender of record — whether you own the debt or are authorized to collect it for another — so the compliance choices, and the consents behind them, are yours to make. This policy sets the ground rules and is part of the Terms of Service.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to every Customer and user of the AgentCollect Platform. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service; capitalized terms have the meaning given there. We may update this AUP as laws and the Platform evolve, with notice of material changes.
You use the Platform to recover receivables you own or are authorized to collect, under your own brand. You decide who is contacted, on what schedule, through which channels, and with what message. You are responsible for ensuring each communication is lawful for the recipient and the debt involved. AgentCollect provides the tools — suppression lists, frequency controls, quiet-hours settings, channel toggles, and AI-identification options — and you are responsible for configuring and using them appropriately.
You can connect the Platform to your invoicing or billing system. When a Debtor replies, asks "what do I owe?", or requests documentation, the AI Agents can return the relevant invoice in response, or attach invoices to outbound notifications — in each case only as you configure, and only to the obligor or its authorized representative; you are responsible for enabling recipient verification before any automatic disclosure. The Platform surfaces the invoice and balance data your systems provide — you are responsible for keeping that data accurate and for your right to share it with the recipient.
You must not use the Platform to:
The Platform is licensed for business-to-business receivables only; you may not use it to collect debts owed by individual consumers without a separate written addendum. If and when consumer-debt use is enabled under such an addendum, you take on additional duties and confirm you will meet them — depending on where you and the consumer are, these can include:
You are solely responsible for determining which of these apply to you and for complying with them. If you collect on behalf of others, you may yourself be a "debt collector" under these laws. AgentCollect is a software provider, does not act as a "debt collector" on your behalf, and does not assume the obligations these laws place on you. Where the Platform offers controls to help you comply (consent gating, disclosures, suppression), you are responsible for enabling and configuring them.
If you enable call recording, you are responsible for providing any notice or obtaining any consent that applicable one-party or two-party recording laws require. AI Agents may state that a call is recorded or AI-assisted where you configure them to; you remain responsible for the legal sufficiency of those notices.
You represent that you have the right to upload Customer Data and to authorize the outreach you configure, and that doing so does not violate any law, contract, or privacy right. Processing of personal data is governed by the Data Processing Addendum and the Privacy Policy.
We would rather help you fix an issue than shut you down. If we identify a potential violation, we may contact you to resolve it, throttle or pause specific activity, or — where there is legal or reputational risk, or a violation is not promptly cured — suspend or terminate access as described in the Terms of Service. Except where your use creates an emergency or a legal, security, or reputational risk, we will give you notice and a chance to cure first. We may also disclose information where required by law.
